2007 Sweetheart Convention

For those of you who missed this year's convention, start saving your pennies for 2008! It was a blast! What a bunch of wacky, fun women! Some of the faces above you will recognize, some are the faces of new friends, and some faces are missing. I will be posting those as soon as I get more pictures from other Pips who were there and I'll tell you a bit more about the convention...

The Sweetheart Convention was FANTASTIC! It was so good to meet Red Hatters from all over Oregon. What a great group of ladies!! Hope it will become an annual event.

Hi Pips! Trying to access this site with my comments. Have never been successful before. I had wild and wacky time at the convention. Sorry for throwing the candies so forcefully during my magic show--I have heard that they hurt people! Thanks for being such a great audience. Photos--I want to have some photos emailed to me or if someone has a photo CD that I can print from--would greatly appreciate that. Love Lady Leilani/Magical Merlinda

Aloha Leilani! ...or Magical Merlinda. Good to see you on 'SCRATCH'. Thanks for the great magic show... that was so much fun! Maybe next time you can throw gummies... or marshmallows
tee hee.

lady a little late says: It was so much funI had to rest for three days after. Everyone was friendly and funny! The magic show and fashion show were beautiful. I especially enjoyed the
Merlin group who were in character all night. That's what's nice about
being older, we lose our inhibitions.
I need more practice. I can't wait for "The hoot" in Coos Bay. Who has the date (I did't write it down). Thanks to everyone who made this event possible. Great Job :-)

Hi Queen Debbie,
You are doing such a great job with this 'blog' spot and publishing the pictures and the slide show is wonderful. So much to learn - I am impressed. I love being a 'Chick', purple pip, of course.

Debbie, what fun you must have. I have thought about starting my own, but the women my age, just don't get it. Thanks for the wonderful comments about my Christmas house. Hugs, Pat
